The Blackfires officially joined the club of bands who’s album artwork has been banned. We are proud to be alongside the lines of Guns’N Roses, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and others in that respect.
But in fact: WTF?

Itunes and Amazon denied to put our album on their platforms because in their opinion we’ve violated basically everything: “pornographic images”, “violence and gore”…
And by the way cough cough….. I do understand the times when Guns N roses’ “Appetite for destruction” first version of their album artwork seemed explicit as well as these infamous artworks!

But (cough-cough) in our times, when you can access all kinds of imaginable and unimaginable porn online for FREE within seconds, not to mention sites with violence, and death executions FOR FREE… At any time you want… from your phone…right away… FOR FREE… cough cough…
And oi… everyday explicit content on social media? How about that?
This is simply ridiculous!!! Oh yeah and I do believe that most of the modern pop and hip hop shit is extremely “pornographic” in the sense that it violates my taste and makes me wanna vomit.
How about that?

So now we are supposed to change our artwork if we wanna be on Itunes… or Amazon… should we? Or should we make our album only available exclusively on CD Baby or our website? What do you think?
